Life as a Medium

One question just about everyone asks me at some point is what it’s like to go about my daily life surrounded by Spirit. Do I see them everywhere? Do they talk to me all the time?

The short answer:

It’s complicated.

The long answers:

✨ I have different ‘modes’. When I am not sitting down to do readings, I can still see and notice Spirit, but I have some boundaries in place - upheld by my own Spirit Guides - to ensure I am not bombarded 24/7. I am human and it’s important I get to exist in this world and experience it the same as everyone else.

✨ Spirit and ghosts are two separate things. I don’t see fully formed people everywhere I go, because ghosts aren’t everywhere I go. Spirit is energy, they have passed over and no longer have an human appearance - they are glimmers and shimmers of light, or shadows. However they best manage to manifest. Their colour doesn’t make them ‘good’ or ‘bad’. Ghosts are spirits who have not accepted their passing or feel they have unfinished business - they do still appear as their ‘human’ self as they are very much still attached to this identity and dimension. They are fewer and further between and often are attached to historical places or homes.

✨ Spirit would communicate constantly with me if they could. When I was younger, I would get messages meant for strangers I was in the same restaurant as, or passing in the shops. Now that I have more control, I still often get random messages for people close to me - my friends have many stories about messages from family members coming through me. Outside of this, I only get messages for strangers when I open myself to channel. Again, if I talked to Spirit all day I wouldn’t be fully present here, learning the lessons I need to in this lifetime, and so i have strict boundaries.
